In The Mist Dark Figures Move And Twist
You learn something every day. I didn't know that the numbers on the roulette wheel add up to 666. And they do, check it out. However, no sooner did I learn this interesting fact than it transpired that people think it wasn't 666 at all, it was 616.
Which, as the article points out, would bugger up a lot of films, and heavy metal songs. Nice to see Caligula get a namecheck in there too. If you must have an Emperor, you might as well go the whole hog and have one who shags all his sisters, declares war on the sea and makes his horse Consul. Now I think about it, maybe the pendulum of history is moving back in that direction.

That link reminds me of an episode of Red Dwarf:

where a news broadcast from the future tells us:
Newsreader: Good evening. Here is the news on Friday, the 27th of Geldof. Archeologists near Mount Sinai have discovered what is believed to be a missing page from the Bible. The page is currently being carbon-dated in Bonne. If genuine, it belongs at the beginning of the Bible and is believed to read, "To my darling Candy. All characters portrayed within this book are fictitous and any resemblance to persons living or dead is purely coincidental." The page has been universally condemned by church leaders.
